Bangalore have shown interest in buying young talents to strengthen their backup, which includes names like Himanshu Sharma, Manoj Bhandage, and Avinash Singh.
Former captain Virat Kohli’s team also included England fast bowler Reece Topley. At the same time, English all-rounder Will Jacques was also given a place in his team. RCB bought Reece Topley in the auction for 1.90 crores while Will Jacks bought twice the base price for 3 crores.
In the mini-auction of IPL 2023 (IPL Auction 2023) on Friday, all 10 teams played big bets on all-rounders and bowlers. Of the 80 players bought, 70% were sold in this category, while 30% of the batsmen (including the wicketkeeper) were auctioned.
